Allagash Pictavia is a craft beverage featuring a harmonious blend of sweet honey and caramel flavors complemented by the robustness of oak and a subtle tart bitterness. The brewing process incorporates a variety of malts including Special B, Munich, pale, and Caramel malt, along with roasted barley and a two-row blend. Northern Brewer hops are used to achieve its unique taste profile. The drink undergoes fermentation with an abbey-style yeast and is then aged in scotch barrels, which previously contained port, for approximately four months to enrich its complexity and character.
